LCD Displays with Interactive Function
The HKMA Information Centre introduces the work of the Hong Kong
Monetary Authority and houses books, journals and other texts on central
banking and related subjects. The Centre consists of an Exhibition Area and a
Library. The Centre is operated as a resource for HKMA staff members and as an
educational and research facility for the public.
The Information Centre is divided into an
Exhibition Area and a Library. AVT installed 4 units of Smart LCD TVs with sizes
from 10” to 55” and 4 units of LCD TV with Touch Screen and sizes from 32” to
70” for Policy Section and Currency Section in Exhibition
Area. This project was completed on August of 2018.
By installing our display products, visitors can
learn about main policy objectives of the HKMA, the
design, security features, production process and other fun facts about Hong
Kong currency notes and coins through an immersive experience.
Instead of showing this information in a traditional way, our interactive
installation encourages visitors to proactively acquire knowledge of Hong
Kong’s currency.
